Carriers need to have visibility to what is occurring in their SS7, IP and ATM networks that contain signaling information. Traditionally, when problems occur, carriers have relied on switches and other network elements to alert them. Unfortunately these methods normally do not provide enough information and usually do not provide proactive information to alert carriers of problems before they impact revenue-generating services.

A Network Map graphically provides complete network visualization with drill down functionality down to a network element, link set, and link. An alarm management capability allows for user-defined thresholds to be set as alarm triggers. Tekno Telecom’s non-intrusive monitoring devices, Net(s)CCS and NetAnalyzer, monitor the SS7, IP, and ATM networks down to the link and signaling segment level. Transmits the performance, composition and utilization information of the links and segments to the centralized NetAlert server. NetAlert processes the information into graphics and compares it to user-defined thresholds to generate major and minor alarms for network faults and data integrity in a "Real-Time" format. NetAlert measures everything and presents it graphically with drill down functionality from a high-level network map to a link-level view point.
