The NetQuest Advantage

Tekno Telecom’s NetQuest Network Management System generates CDRs, TDRs, and reports directly from the SS7, IP, and ATM networks in one platform integrated together for converged, hybrid and legacy network topologies are becoming today’s reality. NetQuest provides a unified approach to network management and applications including:

Carriers deploying SS7, ATM, and IP converged/hybrid networks need solutions to manage these networks and provide tools to ensure that revenue and profitability maximization are realized. NetQuest Solutions provides those answers.

The Problem

Carriers deploying the newer topologies must evaluate how to manage these networks. Having a non-cohesive integrated network management approach will tax a carrier’s staff because they must learn to utilize systems that are drastically different. They may not be able to achieve the complete benefits from their network and profitability maximization operating in the manner stated above. This disadvantage will not only cost carriers more on all levels, but also leave carriers vulnerable to severe revenue leakage. Vendor interoperability issues, performance bottlenecks, traffic design issues, and normal “Murphy’s Law” scenarios will be difficult to solve unless carriers’ can look at the big picture with a unified approach and vision.

The Solution

NetQuest provides an integrated telephony network management approach of the SS7, IP, and ATM networks with a cohesive platform, software and applications. Users benefit from the ability to see the big picture and manage the entire Network simultaneously with the ability to drill down to the bit level to solve problems and generate revenue.

The Process

Tekno Telecom’s NetQuest Network Management System utilizes non-intrusive monitoring devices (NetAnalyzer), which have the capability to have different interface cards for different network topologies including SS7, ATM, and IP in a single platform. Every MSU, cell and packet is decoded and then correlated into CDRs and TDRs within NetAnalyzer in "real-time." Multiple geographically dispersed NetAnalyzers then transmits the CDRs/TDRs and statistical reports to Tekno Telecom's centralized server RDBMS applications (NetInsight, NetScope, NetAlert and NetViewPoint), as well as 3rd party and host systems.

Conclusion

Carriers can manage converged-hybrid and Internet telephony networks with a unified approach that is easy to use and provides a dramatic return on investment. NetQuest carriers will have the ability to do total network analysis on their whole network with a congruent unified approach. This will result in increased revenue and profitability maximization, ideal tools for your staff, and overall satisfied customer who are happy that the new technologies work the way you say they will. Whether you are a wireline, wireless, and next-generation networks carrier, you need to investigate the advantages of Tekno Telecom’s NetQuest Solutions.
