CANTO's 1st Fraud Management/Revenue Assurance Program

Naperville, IL - December 19, 2002 - Tekno Telecom, L.L.C. today announced they have been formally recognized for their participation and assistance in the coordination of the first Fraud Management/Revenue Assurance Seminar for CANTO's (Caribbean Association of National Telecommunication Organizations) membership clients. [Award] Mr. Martin Gomez of Tekno Telecom was presented with a commemorative plaque for the support of the seminar that was held on December 11 through 13 on the island of St. Kitts.

Tekno Telecom worked with CANTO and retained the services of FML (Americas) Inc. as facilitators for the Fraud Management seminar. In cooperation with CANTO, Tekno Telecom also invited two other Fraud Management System suppliers to exhibit and speak to its membership.

Tekno Telecom is constantly working with telecommunication companies and other organizations where there are requirements for our SS7 monitoring, reporting and Call Detail Record generation solutions," said Martin Gomez of Tekno Telecom. "This fraud management and revenue assurance seminar brought to the CANTO membership the realization that the types of telecommunications fraud perpetrated on their networks is costing them significant revenue and needs to be immediately acted on by all levels in the telecommunication organizations and government agencies throughout the Caribbean."

Our products in this area facilitate a highly reliable, user-flexible Call Detail Record stream to fraud management systems which in turn assists the telco in detecting, managing and reporting fraud in real-time so that it can be stopped," added Mr. Gomez. "Our speed and ease of use in our patented CDR correlation and generation is the key in feeding these various fraud management systems. The utilization of our reports will also assist the telco in many other areas of revenue assurance such as inter-carrier billing verification/validation, protocol analysis and quality of service reporting."

"We are more than happy to assist CANTO and their members in the areas of fraud management and network monitoring / surveillance and have found that the seminar attendees were thinking outside of the box, when it comes to fraud detection and analysis, " said Martin Gomez.

This Fraud Seminar has already generated a significant amount of interest in Tekno's solutions and inter-active web presentations and demonstrations are being scheduled with a number of the member clients of CANTO.
