The Rainier Group Awards Contract to
Tekno Telecom for SS7 Network Monitoring &
Call Detail Record (CDR) Generation

Naperville, IL (April 29, 2004) - Tekno Telecom, L.L.C., a provider for network monitoring systems for SS7, ATM and VOIP networks was awarded a contract to provide SS7 network monitoring and Call Detail Record (CDR) generation for billing validation and verification by The Rainier Group, a company who builds and owns all of its telecommunications facilities, providing state-of-the-art technology.

"The Rainier Group was currently under suspicion of calls terminating into the telephone network from other IXC and telephone companies including wireless traffic," said Mr. Jerry Whatley, Sr. Vice President of Network Operations for The Rainier Group. "With Tekno’s system and flexible CDR generation capabilities, we will now be able to validate these 'ghosting' calls that are coming into our network for termination from our SS7 interconnect provider."

Mr. Whatley also stated, "Tekno's CDR generation of ISUP and TCAP SS7 records will be used by our downstream operational support systems and a variety of departments for the verification and validation of carrier billing and usage charges. This is a tool that we needed for a while and Tekno Telecom delivered the best product, at the best price, with the most flexibility and ease of use. We fully expect that the return on this investment will pay for itself time and time again."

"We knew our product could provide The Rainier Group with the data necessary to analyze what is happening in their system," said Sam Galler, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Tekno Telecom. "Not only will our system provide the knowledge, but the added benefit is the additional revenue they will receive as a result of the billing validation and verification."
